What is Flooto?

Flooto is a Saudi school transport management platform. It connects schools, parents, drivers, and supervisors in one system with real-time GPS tracking, instant notifications, and fleet management tools built for the Saudi education sector.

How does real-time tracking work?

GPS devices installed on each bus update its location every few seconds, showing the exact position on an interactive map. Parents receive automatic notifications when the bus approaches their stop, when their child boards or exits, and estimated arrival times based on real traffic conditions.

Is Flooto available in my city?

Flooto is launching with schools in Saudi Arabia, starting from Riyadh. Contact us to register your school for early access or to ask about availability in your city.

What devices are supported?

Flooto works on iPhone (iOS 14+) and Android devices (version 8+). The school dashboard is accessible from any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge) on desktop or tablet. All apps support both Arabic and English.

How is our data protected?

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your information is stored on secure servers, never shared with third parties, and handled in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

How do I download the parent app?

The Flooto parent app is coming soon to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your school will provide login credentials once it enrolls with Flooto.

How do I add my child to my account?

After logging in with credentials from your school, tap 'Add Child' and enter the unique code provided by your school. This links your account to your child's profile and their bus route automatically.

How do I report my child's absence?

Open the app, select your child, and tap 'Report Absence'. You can mark single or multiple days. The driver will be notified not to wait at your stop, and you won't receive missed boarding alerts for those days.

Can I track multiple children?

Yes! You can add multiple children to one account, even if they attend different schools or use different routes. The app shows each child's bus location and status on a unified dashboard.

How do arrival notifications work?

You'll receive notifications when the bus is approaching (customizable: 5, 10, or 15 minutes away), when your child boards, when they exit, and when they arrive at school or home. Notifications come in your preferred language.

How long does implementation take?

Standard implementation takes 1-2 weeks. This includes system setup, GPS device installation, data migration, staff training, and a pilot testing phase. Our team handles most of the work—you just provide student and route information.

Is training provided for school staff?

Yes, we provide comprehensive training for all school staff including administrators, transport supervisors, and drivers. We offer live training sessions, video tutorials in Arabic and English, and ongoing support.

Can we customize parent notifications?

Absolutely. Schools can configure notification types, timing (e.g., 10-minute arrival warning), and language preference (Arabic or English). You can also set up emergency alerts and custom announcements.

How do we add or remove buses?

Administrators can add or remove buses directly from the dashboard. New buses require a GPS device (we provide it) and route setup in the system. Our support team assists with all fleet changes.

Does Flooto integrate with school systems?

Yes, we integrate with popular school management systems and can connect with your existing student information system. Contact us to discuss your specific integration requirements.

What are the technical requirements?

You need a stable internet connection at the admin office. Our GPS devices communicate via cellular network independently. For the dashboard, we recommend modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge). Mobile apps require iOS 14+ or Android 8+.

How accurate is GPS tracking?

Our tracking is accurate to within 3-5 meters under normal conditions. We use commercial-grade GPS chips with A-GPS for faster location fixes and cellular backup for coverage in tunnels and parking structures.

What happens if internet connection is lost?

GPS devices store data locally and sync when connection is restored. Parents see the last known location with a timestamp. For extended outages, we send a notification that real-time tracking is temporarily unavailable.

Does the app drain battery?

Our apps are optimized for minimal battery usage. Background location updates use very little power. You can also adjust notification frequency in settings to further reduce battery consumption.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, we offer schools a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start. After the trial, choose the plan that fits your needs.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept bank transfers (SADAD), credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, mada), and invoice billing for larger schools. Billing can be monthly or annual based on your preference.

Are there discounts for large fleets?

Yes, we offer special pricing for schools with 20+ buses. Contact our sales team for a custom quote. We also provide discounts for annual payment plans.

What is the cancellation policy?

Schools can cancel their subscription with 30 days notice. We ensure a smooth transition and provide data export. There are no hidden cancellation fees.
